Create Your Own PVC Pipe Water Pump

So I was on YouTube earlier today and I came across this new video from Grant Thompson (aka “the King of Random”) on how to build a hand pump out of basic PVC piping and parts found at your local Home Depot.

This easy to create tool could provide some real assistance in a major collapse if you need to move water from a well, pool, spring – help clear a flooded pit, crawlspace or basement – or even be used for irrigation projects in your garden. With that much versatility, I had to pass this how-to on to you.

So what do you think? Could you modify the design to work better or easier? Have you created one of these on your own? Let us know and leave your comment below. Happy Prepping! – Skip
